Shoes are an important item of your everyday life, most people put them on every day. For those who are active it is important to find the right pair of shoe that works for the activity you’re doing, in order to protect your body.
Water Shoes:
All water shoes have the basis of a foot and toe protection, and superb traction making water shoes perfect for anyone who climbs in and out of the water frequently. Water shoes, don’t just have to be used for water as they fit like an athletic sneaker and are comfortable enough for trail hiking, or day-to-day usage.
Running/Walking Shoe:
A running shoe is very different then a shoe made for basketball or tennis (court shoes). When running you are only going forward, so a running shoe is built to give you support and stability with no lateral stability built into them. Runners land on their forefoot more than say someone who is walking, so running shoes are not the same as walking shoe. Since you’re on your forefoot more, the running shoe must have more cushioning there while the walking shoe should have stiffer rubber to support the heel.
Court Shoes:
Court shoes such as a shoe for basketball or tennis are stabilized literally because in these activities you are moving your feet side to side a lot when playing these sports. The shoe needs to support the feet during quick side-to-side movements or shifts in weight, providing stability on the inside and outside of the foot. On soft courts, wear a softer soled shoe that allows better traction (tennis), while on a hard courts use a shoe with a greater thread and a stiff, thick sole (basketball shoes).
